Sharing Christ's love, one cookie at a time.
Our Mission Committee invites you to take part in this year’s Cookies at Christmas drive for our partners at Transforming Jail Ministries (TJM). Each December, we share the love and hope of Christ with inmates, residents, and correctional staff by providing home-baked cookies—small, simple gifts that remind each person they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.
This is a wonderful way for our church family to serve together and bless those who are often carrying heavy burdens during the holidays.
Bring your cookie contributions to Madeira-Silverwood by 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 17.
Baking and Packing Instructions:
Cookies should be approximately 2-3” in diameter for packing purposes
Allow cookies to dry completely before packing and delivering
Pack cookies flat, in a protective box with wax paper or cardboard between layers
Do not put cookies in plastic bags
Tins and containers cannot be stored or returned (please do not send us valuable containers you would like to receive back).
Approved Cookie Types
You are welcome to bake favorites such as:
Sugar cookies with sprinkles
Decorated cut-out sugar cookies
Cookies with colored M&Ms
Chocolate chip

Oatmeal raisin or oatmeal craisin
Cookies containing nuts (peanut butter, pecan, macadamia, etc.) are acceptable, as we cannot guarantee an allergy-safe environment.
