Shawn Wuske, executive director of Transforming Jail Ministries, will be here for a Brunch 'N Learn on Sunday, September 7, at 10 am.
In 2007, a group of chaplains, led by Reverend Jack Marsh, gathered in prayer to discern how they could contribute to the success of jail ministry, both locally and in other locations. Part of their discernment centered on how to create an enhanced model for jail ministry that was effective, measurable, and replicable. After months of meetings, Transforming Jail Ministries was born. They have one overriding mission at TJM: to take God's message of hope to those in jail.
At TJM, they try to follow God's lead by being present, planting seeds, and fully expecting that it's the small things, delivered with great love, that will make the difference. We invite you to join us for this special event and discover how you can be part of this impactful ministry.
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’" - Matthew 25:35-36
