Did you know that our kitchen is used daily by Madeira Preschool, weekly by AA, monthly by the Ukrainian Women’s Group, and occasionally by community groups? Family Ministry will join the Building & Grounds team 8/1-8/15 to prepare the church kitchen for Outreach, Mission, and Fellowship events. Our goal is to make the room attractive, functional, and inviting so that we can proudly and easily host events for our church family and the community at large. At the beginning of August, we will empty the shelves, cabinets, and pantry and identify donation opportunities. Next, we will clean and polish the floor, appliances and stainless steel surfaces. The walls, ceiling, and cabinets will be painted a light, fresh, and clean color, then the equipment and supplies we decide to keep will be organized and put away. If you are willing to help with any phase of this initiative, contact the office. Cannot do it but have teenagers who can? We’ll welcome their help and gladly sign for volunteer hour credit!
