Summer is over, and it's time to clear out those old clothes. Don't let them go to waste! Our mission partner Master Provisions collects gently used clothing and distributes them to places in need all over the globe. Your old clothing could be a blessing to children in Honduras, villagers in Ghana, communities in Togo, or many other places around the world.
Master Provisions can use good quality summer-weight clothing, t-shirts, polos, dress shirts, sportswear, slacks, jeans, hats, light-weight jackets and children’s clothing. They can also take bed sheets and towels. (If you have shoes to donate, please drop them off in the church office - we'll be doing a shoe drive for Soles4Soles in October!)
Bring your clothing to Madeira-Silverwood Presbyterian between September 10 and September 24. During those dates, we will have a Master Provisions trailer set up in our parking lot. All you have to do is leave your donated items in the trailer and we'll take care of the rest! You get a cleaned out closet and the satisfaction of knowing that you've been a blessing to people around the world.
“John [the Baptist] said, 'Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.'” Luke 3:11
