New Website and Logo

The journey to create our new website started in November 2019 when the church applied for and received a digital communication grant. I feel strangely emotional thinking back to that time because it was pre-Covid and we have all been through so much since then.

It's been moving to see how our community has weathered the storm and created new ways to gather; standing strong despite the challenges. I’m proud to say that after many Zoom meetings and a handful of in-person ones the site is now live with the addition of a new logo. It has been a labor of love for everyone involved and we hope you love it as much as we do. Thank you to all of the people who contributed and helped during this process.

The goal of the new site is to create a virtual space where anyone can go 24/7 to learn about our story, feel inspired, get involved, and even submit a prayer request. The following Bible verse sums up what the new logo and site are all about:

"The Year of the Lord's Favor: The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor." (Isaiah 61:1-3)

I’m honored the church has trusted me to bring the new site to life and I sense that God has big things in store for MSPC. As we start this new chapter together - may this next year truly be the year of the Lord’s favor.
