We are pleased to announce that our own Missy Hardy will be coming on board as our new Director of Family Ministry. Missy will be leaving a distinguished career as a high school math teacher to pursue this new calling in family ministry. A life- long Presbyterian, Missy comes to us with decades of experience as an educator, a coach, and a developer of programs. She came to Madeira-Silverwood in 2003, and has served on our Deacon board and on the youth ministry commit- tee. Most recently, she coordinated this year’s highly successful Vacation Bible School.
Thank you to our search committee: Gina Cutshall, Sandy Thompson, Ken Wegenhart, Crystal Dahlmeier, Kelly Brown, and Katja Loeb. They put in countless hours of work pre- paring the job description, promoting the position, screening and interviewing candidates, and working with Pastor Smith in evaluating our finalists.
Please be in prayer for Missy and our various Family Ministry programs. Together, we’re all looking forward to an exciting new era of ministry!
