Our Madeira-Silverwood Deacons are leading our response to the Maui wildfire by collecting donations of emergency supplies for Matthew 25 Ministries. In addition to shipping essential supplies such as personal care kits, baby supplies, paper products, cleaning supplies, first aid and safety kits, personal protective equipment, and more to areas impacted by the wildfires, Matthew 25 is also deploying their team to assist with supply distribution, provide additional services, and work with partners to plan for ongoing needs.
We invite you to offer a simple expression of love and support to those who are suffering by bringing any of the following items to Madeira-Silverwood Presbyterian's office:
Cases of bottled water: 12 and 24 count
Personal care products: Antibacterial soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, lotion, etc.
Cleaning supplies: Laundry detergents, general cleaner, sponges, bleach (powdered form is preferred), mops, scrub brushes, buckets, rubber gloves, etc.
Paper products: Toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
Baby and infant supplies: Diapers, wipes, diaper rash ointment, baby wash, baby shampoo, baby lotion, etc.
First-aid items: Bandages, gauze, pads, first aid tape, antiseptic creams, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, latex gloves, instant cold packs, etc.
