Serve with MSPC at St. Francis Seraph Ministries

Each month, a team from Madeira-Silverwood Presbyterian Church travels to Over-the-Rhine to serve dinner in the Mother Teresa of Calcutta Dining Room at St. Francis Seraph Ministries. The dining room welcomes people experiencing homelessness and anyone who needs a meal, offering wholesome food with dignity and respect.

Our volunteers help serve dinner, visit with guests, and clean up after the meal. No culinary skills are required. This is a practical way to show compassion, honor the image of God in neighbors who are having a difficult time, and put our faith into action together.

Serving as a group is part of what makes the experience meaningful. We work alongside friends from MSPC and other people in the community, and this is a wonderful opportunity to invite a friend to serve with you.

Upcoming Service Opportunity

Our next service date is Thursday, October 15, 2026. Meet at MSPC at 3:00 p.m. so the team can travel downtown together. We usually return to the church by 6:00 p.m. High school students and adults are welcome.

To participate, sign up using the Connect Card or email the church at mspc@madeirachurch.org by Tuesday October 13.
