Summer Refresh Project Announced

The next refresh project may not have the same impact as the Bathroom Refresh and the Nursery Refresh projects of 2024, but with your help, it may be!

Congregational Life will once again partner with Building & Grounds and VOLUNTEERS(!) to spruce up several auxiliary areas on the main level of MSPC:  the coat closet, the volunteer booth, and the kitchenette. We will thoroughly clean out, reorganize, and paint all three spaces. Although the project's scope remains uncertain due to several unanswered financial questions, we hope to incorporate new cabinetry in the coat closet and new countertops in the kitchenette.

Refreshing these spaces aligns with our vision in several important ways. First, having an organized and functional coat closet will create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors, allowing them to hang up their coats without feeling confused or intrusive. Additionally, a cheerful volunteer booth featuring MSPC clothing and literature for sale will convey to visitors that we are a beacon of love in the community. Finally, the tiny kitchenette, which is used daily, needs to be designed as an effective workspace.

The Auxiliary Space Refresh project will occur during the third and fourth weeks of July. Contact the church office, fill out a Connect Card, or talk to Missy Hardy if you'd like to pitch in.
