All Saints Day Worship at MSPC | November 1

All Saints Sunday Worship
Sunday, November 1 at 10:00 a.m.
On Sunday, November 1 at 10:00 a.m., Madeira-Silverwood Presbyterian Church will gather for All Saints Sunday Worship, a special service of remembrance, gratitude, and resurrection hope.
All Saints Day is a time for Christians to remember those who have gone before us in faith and to give thanks for the people whose lives have shaped our own. For those who have experienced the death of a loved one during the past year, it can also provide a sacred space to grieve, remember, and find comfort in the presence of God and the companionship of others.
Together, we will remember with gratitude those who have gone before us into the presence of the Lord, offer one another compassion in grief, and rest in Christ’s promise: “Because I live, you also will live” (John 14:19).
Remembering Loved Ones During Worship
As part of our All Saints Sunday service, we will remember members of the Madeira-Silverwood Presbyterian Church family who have died during the past year. The All Saints Roll Call will be read aloud during worship, with a candle lit for each name.
We also invite members of our congregation and community to remember family members and friends who have died during the past year. A Memorial Book will be available in the Entry Foyer throughout October where you may add the name of someone you would like remembered. Names may also be submitted to the church office.
An Invitation to Our Community
You do not need to be a member of Madeira-Silverwood Presbyterian Church to participate. If you have lost someone you love during the past year, or would simply value a place to remember and give thanks, you are warmly invited to worship with us.
Grief is deeply personal, but it does not have to be carried alone. All Saints Sunday gives us an opportunity to bring our memories, our gratitude, and our sorrow before God while holding fast to the Christian hope of resurrection.
Join us at Madeira-Silverwood Presbyterian Church in Madeira, Ohio, as we remember those we love, give thanks for their lives, and proclaim together that in Jesus Christ, death does not have the final word.
