Ladies' Tea Party

Celebrate the Start of Summer with Us!

The start of summer is just around the corner, and we thought it would be a perfect time to enjoy one of the longest days of the year with a Ladies’ Tea Party!  We warmly invite you and the women you love to join us for a whimsical midday affair filled with delicious treats, a spot of tea, some laughter and enjoyment in each other’s company.  Whether you’re a regular attendee of our church or this is your first time visiting, we promise you this event will leave you refreshed, nourished, feeling connected and ready for Summer.  Notecard invites are available at the Information Desk in the church lobby for you and those you wish to give them to.

How to reserve your seat:

To reserve your seat(s), use the registration buttons below or visit the Information Desk in the church lobby right after each worship service on Sundays in May for help with your reservation.  Available seating times for the tea will be 11:00 am or 1:30 pm on June 22nd based on what works best for your schedule.  Each seating will have 20 spots with an option to add a third and/or fourth seating if needed. 

June 10 is the deadline to reserve your seats

What to Expect: 

The Ladies’ Tea Party will be a blend of whimsy, vintage, and modernity (farm to teacup) hosted by Antiquity Tea and the Women’s Ministry of Madeira-Silverwood Church.  We’ll gather in the open space of the Chapel around a beautifully decorated garden scene amidst fresh linens and place settings set for tea.  We’ll be pampered by Antiquity Tea so that we can relax, learn a little about tea and enjoy our time together.  We invite everyone to wear a vintage pin if you can find one.  Whether you love good conversation or you’re needing some time for yourself, we’ll have something for everyone.

A note for moms:

 Children are invited to participate in kid-friendly activities that will be near the chapel so that women attending can enjoy adult time together.  A reservation for number of children is required at the time of your reservation. 

A note for special diets:

 Please indicate in your reservation if you require gluten-free/dairy-free and a delicious tea setting by a local chef will be provided to you.   

A note for attendees:

We want everyone to be able to attend and so we have a flexible $ scale.  Contact the church office if you desire a discount, and we will have our women's ministry team follow up with you.  If instead you are able to donate a little more to help fund the event and so that others may attend, thank you (there will be add-on sponsorship levels you can choose at the time of your reservation and payment).  Any funds left over from this event will go towards funding the beloved yearly tradition ‘Women’s Advent Event’ which is scheduled this year for Sunday, December 8, 2024 (mark your calendars!).

The Ladies’ Tea Party event is a fresh opportunity to connect with old friends, make new ones, and to kick off the Summer season together.
