Save the Date: Scout Sunday at MSPC
Sunday, February 8, 2026
Madeira-Silverwood Presbyterian Church is proud to support youth leadership and character development through our longstanding partnership with Scouting America. We are honored to serve as the charter organization for Boy Scout Troop 209 and Cub Scout Pack 20.
Join us for Scout Sunday, a day of celebration and gratitude for the impact Scouting has had on generations of young people and families. We will recognize Scout Sunday during both worship services, including recognition of Eagle Scouts, a brief reflection on the values of Scouting, and a communal recitation of the Scout Oath and Law.
As part of the celebration, members of Boy Scout Troop 209 will host a pancake breakfast for everyone, served at 10:00 am between the morning worship services in Fellowship Hall. Whether you’re a longtime Scout, a current Scout family, or simply looking for a fun way to start your Sunday, this is a wonderful opportunity to gather around the table, enjoy a delicious meal, and celebrate the spirit of service and hospitality that Scouting embodies.
If Scouting has played a role in your life—or if you value the formation of character, service, and leadership in young people—we hope you’ll join us for this special day of celebration.
As we invest in young people and the values of service and integrity, we give thanks for the ways God is shaping leaders who seek to love and serve others.
