Join Us for our Ash Wednesday Worship Services

Lent is a season of preparation for Easter—a time for honest reflection, repentance, and renewed attention to God’s grace. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of this journey, grounding us in truth before we rush toward hope.

Join us for our Ash Wednesday service on Wednesday, February 18, at 7:00 pm.

This year, our service will be shaped by Psalm 103, a song that reminds us that while we are finite and fragile, we are in the hands of God who deeply loves us.

Ash Wednesday invites us to face our mortality without fear, to release the illusion of self-sufficiency, and to receive again the mercy of a God who is “gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love.”

The service will conclude with the imposition of ashes, an ancient Christian practice in which ashes are placed on the forehead in the sign of the cross. The ashes are a visible reminder of our mortality and a quiet confession of trust—trust that our lives are held by God’s mercy, not sustained by our own strength.

Ash Wednesday is a simple, reverent service, open to all. Whether you have observed this season for many years or are encountering it for the first time, you are welcome to join us as we begin Lent together in humilty and hope.

“As a father has compassion for his children,so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him;for he knows how we were made;he remembers that we are dust.”—Psalm 103:13–14
