Walk to School Day 2026
Madeira-Silverwood Presbyterian Church will welcome families walking to school on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 8:00 to 9:30 AM.
Stop by for free coffee, juice, doughnuts, dog treats, and a friendly greeting along Greenbriar Lane near the church office parking lot in Madeira, Ohio.
Walk to School Day is a community event that encourages Madeira families to walk to school together. Our church sits along a morning walking route used by local families, so Walk to School Day gives us a simple opportunity to welcome our neighbors along the way.

Walk to School Day is one small way we put hospitality into practice. Our hope is that the schools and families around us experience MSPC as a source of love, strength, and support. We are grateful for the students, parents, caregivers, and school staff who help make our community a place where children can thrive and grow.
Hospitality, compassion, families, and service are important parts of life at MSPC. Walk to School Day is a simple expression of those commitments: being present in our neighborhood and offering encouragement through an everyday act of kindness. A cup of coffee, a doughnut, or a simple hello can remind a neighbor that they are seen, valued, and welcome.
