Community Service

Following Jesus leads us outward. At Madeira-Silverwood Presbyterian Church, we believe Christian faith is expressed not only in what we believe and how we worship, but also in how we love and serve our neighbors.

Throughout the year, people of all ages at MSPC put their faith into action through hands-on service in Madeira, throughout greater Cincinnati, and beyond. We prepare and serve meals, provide food and other necessities for families, support local ministry partners, care for people experiencing poverty and homelessness, repair homes through mission trips, and respond to needs as we encounter them.

You don’t have to be a member of our church to serve alongside us. Whether you are looking for a one-time opportunity, a place for your family to serve together, or a way to make service a regular part of your life, we would be glad to help you find a place to begin.

We serve because Jesus calls us to love our neighbors, and because we believe God can use ordinary acts of generosity, compassion, and service to make a real difference in people’s lives.

Madeira-Silverwood Presbyterian Church has joined the Shalom Coalition, a group of local congregations partnering with Cincinnati Habitat for Humanity to help build affordable homes and strengthen our Greater Cincinnati community.
